Bell County native officially assumes role as head of Kentucky court system – WYMT


Bell County native, Justice Laurance VanMeter, has been sworn in as the Chief Justice of the Kentucky Supreme Court, making him the head of the state’s court system. VanMeter was born and raised in Bell County and has a long history of serving in the legal field in Kentucky.
